Wedding Invitations

For our wedding invitations, I wanted a clean but ornate design system and developed a custom pattern based on geometric shapes and tight line work. I paired the art with a serif typeface that was influenced by calligraphy that feels traditional with expressive, artful characteristics.

 

The duplex cards were letterpressed on Crane's Lettra by Steracle Press. The invitations were finished with a wax seal, vellum cover, and custom lined envelopes.
